2.Place the second back pattern piece over the front, right side down, sandwiching the prairie points between them. Pin in place. Sew that straight seam, using ¼˝ seam allowance.

3.Position an eye on each side of the ridges. Place the green side of the eye down. Pin in place.

4.Place the head so that it is face down over the body piece, with the eyes sandwiched between the 2 layers. Pin in place.

5.Sew the head to the body using a ¼˝ seam allowance.

6.Unfold the gator back. This is your pattern piece for the gator belly.
